I’m an Engineering Manager at Cuebiq, where I focus on backend systems and growing collaborative, high-performing engineering teams. I bring deep expertise in Kotlin, Java, Scala, and cloud technologies, paired with a people-first leadership style that nurtures both talent and innovation.

Before Cuebiq, I was a Senior R&D Engineer at CodeLounge (Software Institute), where I led the development of research-driven software bridging academia and industry. I managed full prototype lifecycles, collaborated across disciplines, applied engineering best practices, and taught Bachelor students how to translate theory into practical, industry-ready skills.

I earned my Ph.D. in Informatics in 2017 from the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) as part of the REVEAL research group under Prof. Dr. Michele Lanza, with a focus on recommender systems for software engineering. Before pursuing my Ph.D., I completed a Master’s in Software Design from USI and a Bachelor’s in Informatics from the University of Milano-Bicocca.
