Bio

I am a Senior R&D Engineer working for the CodeLounge at the Software Institute, headed by Dr. Marco D’Ambros and Prof. Dr. Michele Lanza. I earned my PhD in informatics in 2017 from the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Michele Lanza in the REVEAL research group.

I got involved in the REVEAL research group already in January 2012 during my master thesis and in June 2012 I obtained a master degree in Science in Informatics at the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) with a major in Software Design. Before moving to Switzerland, I obtained a bachelor degree of Science in Informatics in April 2010 at University of Milano-Bicocca.

Research Interests

I am generally interested in many aspects of software engineering. I have always been attracted by topics like software design, reverse engineering, mining unstructured data and software comprehension. I am also interested in recommender systems and their usage as tools to support developers
